Reversed navigation

Am using XNview 1.90.2 with Winows XP. No problems till last week when suddenly when I choose "next" in viewing a JPG sequence, I get the previous JPG, conversely when I choose "previous", I get the next JPG.
Something happened to reverse the choice process. Any ideas ? Thanks.

The image sort order should be displayed and adjustable from the viewer (not just the browser!).

A good answer, John.

When navigating through images, the image viewer uses the same order as the browser. This means when setting descending order (symbol "A-Z" in small toolbar of browser), navigation looks as if it was reverse.
