XnView and Video Types Association suggestion

Post by ckit »

I was just wondering, why XnView doesn't have any "video file types" listed in the Association area? Naturally you would need to seperate these from the "image file types" or it would be very confusing.

Yes, I didn't found either audio file types, (even if I don't need it) it should be there (if xnview can open/play it)... maybe like this...

Most used image file types (jpg, bmp, gif...)

Video file types (avi, mpg...)

Audio file types (wav, mp3...)

Rest image file types (c4, gn, rp...)

...and with ability to select/deselect whole category.

Yes, good idea. I have not include audio and video extension, because often users prefer a real video player!

Oh I agree, however lately my "video player (I won't name names)" crashes with certain MOV's and for some reason XnView doesn't.

The crashes in this other app might be because of the QuickTime 6.5.2 upgrade. Anyway, thats not important.
