Another simple feature which would be the easiest to write in (I think),

- when highlighting image files within windows explorer and opening them once highlighted a good option to open them together in the preview wiindow so whatever image was selcted would be shown

- join multiple images together upon highlighting them in windows explorer and saving to the common image formats

I don't think that is possible. That's why XNView has it's own browser. Just use it.
