When I have opened a file in full viewing mode I can go to the next or prevoius file in the same folder by using the "next" or "prevoius" arrows. But why doesn't Xnview sort the pictures in the same orders as they are listed in the folder? If I open the first picture in the folder with Xnview and then click next, most often Xnview sorts it as the last picture in the list, and I have to click backwards to view the files. Sometimes it will show two or three pictures and then come to the end, leaving out the rest of the pictures.
Why is this?

Donnie
PS. Thanks for a great piece of software; small, effective and gets the job done!

Welcome to the forum, Donnie.
Hmm, strange problem. Normally the sort order of the thumbnails in XnView browser mode matches the sort order of the images in image view mode and fullscreen mode.
- Which sort order have you set in browser mode (View > Sort by)? Is "Descending" set?
- Which sort orders do you compare: XnView browser mode and fullscreen mode? Or folder contents and fullscreen mode?
