Unusual gamma effect on transparent image

Applying the gamma option has an unusual effect on image with alpha transparency. It is displayed normally in viewer, but not in browser's preview.
The original image is one XnTriq has recently referenced in forum.

Hello B. !

• That I get here in “Preview”, using the same sample :

   

- I just noticed that with that option “On”, the preview is pretty long to load and display,
let's say 3…4 seconds even showing the loading progress-bar, while it's immediat without
(too short to see any progress-bar).

• I'm using a 16 BPP colour depth display only, the video is onboard.
