No thumbnails for JPG files

Hello,
the browser shows JPG files not as thumbnails but as XnView-Icons and I couldn't find any option to change this. PNG files are shown as thumbs and if I change the file extension from JPG to PNG the browser shows this file as thumbnail. All other funktions works fine.

Are you sure that they are real jpg files and not png files?

Try to download some real jpg files from internet...

Also try to disable (unchceck) "Recognize only by extension" in Options > Browser > File List - if this hepls, the files are probably not jpg

Use Property to know the format.
