Post by Nutznieser »

Hallo

For Pentax K10D PEF-Files will not showed some exif informations. They are: 'Iso speed ratings' and 'exposure bias value' and 'focal length'

I work with XnView 1.91.3 and with WinXP Home/Professional.

Hi Pierre,

any news on this? I am using the 1.92 and the iso value still is not recognized by XnView for Pentax PEF-files.

Do you mean that the ISO value from JPG- and PEF-files out of Pentax cams are stored in different exif tags? I compared both type of files with Phil Harveys exiftool and they both seemed to be stored in the exif:ISO.

I will send you an original pef-file. There are several ISO-tags, the one I mean in Exiftool is called [EXIFIFD:ISO]. I altered it in a jpg and in a pef-file, so both are showing 3200. In XnView the jpg is displayed correctly with "3200", the pef still with an "0".
