first off, love xnview does mostly exactly what i want.
anyway category.db in user/application data/xnview keeps inflating when adding and removing category items and im not sure if its supposed to do that or if its a bug but seeing if you're constantly adding images to category and a lot of images. it'd grow fairly big and someone like me who tries to be most efficient it just bugs me.
secondly, i was adding same images to different categories and i was trying to remove them using 'right click>remove from all categories' and it would only remove it from that category i was looking at and not from all categories where i added the same exact file.
also using version 1.91.4

If size really bothers you, you can get sqlite admin and run cleanup (vacuum) on it, but the paths are the majority of the size and take of a lot of room either way. I just use ntfs disk compression, cuts it to about 1/3 the size.
If it's about speed, a clean up would be of negligible benefit, disk compression speeds up initial load somewhat though.
Maybe it'd be good to have it included in the optimize cache function, along with the missing-picture removal, since it's basically the same feature on a different database.
