Hello,
I have just installed xnView in a Windows Vista system. The installation is OK but when I startup the application I get an error: "XnView for Windows 9x/NT/2000/Me/Xp has encountered a problem and needs to close." I do not know why. I have scanned the forum and I have found a very similar topic here: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.p ... m++startup
but the possible solutions there are not applicable in my case.
I have to say that first I installed the 1.82.4 version and I got an error (sorry, I don't remember what was), then I supposed that the problem was the Windows version and I downloaded the 1.91.4 version of xnView. First I uninstalled the previous one and then I installed the latter. I get the error I said before.
Might anybody help me? Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
miren

If you drag&drop a picture file on xnview icon, do you have always the crash?Invited wrote:Hello,

Hello,
I did it, and it worked. Moreover, if now I start XnView (without the trick of drag&drop), it works too. I don't know why, but it works. Thank you very much.
