XnView is great. On Windows Desktops. But what a pity for Linux users! Actually i don't believe anymore that there will be a 1.90 Linux version of XnView in the near future. Unfortunately Linux doesn't seem to be attractive to graphics software developers. Maybe there's a technical reason for that, i don't know. Other great graphics programs for Linux have died already: XaraXL is gone (development stopped), LightZone for Linux is gone. Pixel, another formerly promising one-man-developed program, is actually in alpha state for years now and still unusable, even while it's being sold (!) as beta release...
Sorry for being off topic, but the situation regarding Linux graphics software is really frustrating.
It's sad, but I think XnView will keep on shining on Windows desktops.
