xnview.ini issue(?)

Post by Dreamer »

When I delete xnview.ini file from xnview install folder and start xnview - change some options - close xnview, new xnview.ini file is created in Application Data xnview folder. XnView checks first the install folder now, so the new ini file should be created here too IMHO. :?

:) Hello !

• I agree totally ! I've some troubles with that 1.91.6 version (no thumb nails, another user has that too),
and trying to start with a blank INI, I got the new one in
E:\Documents and Settings\CLAUDE\Application Data\XnView\
- That doesn't the trick, of course, since I save the INIs and the like in the install folder too…

Hum, no for me, if there is no xnview.ini, xnview must create one in "Application data"

It's not very friendly for testing... I have a new suggestion, I'll start the new topic.

For testing, create a empty xnview.ini :-)

Thanks for the hint, but some ini and db files are created in Application Data\XnView folder, so I have to enter xnview folder, then also Application Data\XnView folder - and that's not all...

Here is my suggestion, for (beta) testing, reporting a bug, translators...
