Quick Print...

Post by Guest »

Hi, my work involves printing a lot random images.
I thought of moving to something new from MS Office PhotoEditor, but seems im not abel to.

I need the viewer to be abel to open quickly, crop, remove red-eye, fastrpint with predefined defaults and close. That 80 times in a day on random times.

I cant waste 2 seconds on closing the stupid printer prompt window.
As i notet, that there can be made plugins and additions to toolbar, i hope to find a solution to my problem.

So is it possible with XnView, or is the old MS PhotoEditor unreplacable?

So perhaps a hotkey to start print without print dialog?

i have searched like 3 days now.
the only substance for microsoft Photo Editor, with my issue, is Tubeesview.

http://www.topshareware.com/TubeesView- ... -37974.htm

The print button of this application prints without any prompts, or irritating questions. But i couldnt find how to setup the default printing settings... seems there are none.

So a plugin for XnView would be apprechiated.

Maybe you can define a print command for the right-mouse-button so that you can print the files from MS Explorer?

Not a good idea...
if you the same function as "right cligh > Print"
this gives u 10 times more irritating questions.. a whole damn wizard to fill out. Imagne yourself filling out 90 wizards in row with the same settings for every image.

Besides... we are not calling the images from explorer.. its another program that uses default viewer for the particular extension (jpg.gif..).

Soo.. again to clarify.
I need something to.
1) open the image quick
2) print with 1 click and quick
3) zoom/pan/crop
4) close quick

XnView lacks the 2) only...

Could anyone dirct me to where i could learn about plugin making for XnView.. ?
