The files with extensions cbr/cbz/cba etc. are simple rar/zip/arj files with compressed graphic files (jpg/gif) in them.
The graphics files are sequenced by name/number, so the cover is the first file sorted by name.
It would be great if GFL could be supplied with the filepath (ie. path and filename) of the CBR/CBZ/CBA file, and then GFL would extract the first image (ie. the cover).
