Unicode filename support in Windows?

Post by pkny »

Hi,

XnView is a great program, but it doesn't support unicode which is a big drawback for it. I know ACDSee doesn't support it even 'til 9.0, not sure about 10. 10 Probably does because it got the vista certified.

Anyway, it seems like this is the issue of using old ascii file handler so it can only handle ascii filename or other international characters w/in the code page you specified. Anyone know when this issue can be solved?

Thanks!
