1. Hiding the tree in Layout 7 hides the splitter for the properties panel.
To reproduce...
Select Layout 7 and display the browser with tree, thumbs, and preview panels. Notice that the splitter for the properties panel is visible.
Hide the tree. Splitter for the properties panel disappears.
Also:
Select Layout 7 and display the browser with tree, thumbs, preview, and properties panel visible.
First hide the tree then hide the properties panel. Properties splitter disappears.
2. Layout 7 does not remember the preview splitter position.
I have reported this several times in the past for previous versions. Please fix for the next release!!!

You can see from my snapshot that it is the Properties Splitter that is missing.
Maybe it has something to do with my 1900x1200 "wide display"? Perhaps the position calculated for the "collapsed" properties splitter is affected by display aspect ratio?
Anyway, its really aggravating. There is no way to "unhide" the properties panel (in Layout 7) without displaying the tree.

Bug #1 reported above has been fixed in 1.92 beta 4 (thanks Pierre!)...
Bug #2 (also reported above) remains. To reproduce: do the following:
- Display Layout 7.
- Display the Preview panel.
- Adjust the Preview splitter to some position of your liking.
- Select another layout.
- Re-select Layout 7.
- Observe that the Preview splitter has moved from your previously chosen position.
Thanks for listening!

I have determined a solution for the bug #2 mentioned above.
1. Expand the Properties panel to the width you best like.
2. Close and reopen XnView.
3. XnView now has stored the expanded width and will restore it correctly when next you expand the properties panel using the splitter button.
It appears that XnView does not remember the "expanded" properties splitter position (at least for layout 7) if the properties panel is collapsed when XnView exits.
