b1-3: Folders label-field have changed colours

Hi,

the field below folder thumbs have always been light grey, but with the new betas, they are mostly yellow and sometimes grey. A bug or intentional? The image explains what I mean:



What bugs me most is that some folders have kept their grey, but not all - the reason is still beyond me. Has anybody noticed the same?

Um... can it be that new folders are classic grey, but as soon as they get a content the turn into yellow (even if you later empty the folder).

but I have not tweaked any colour values in the ini-files, never have. Why the inconsistent behaviour of colours suddenly?

Maybe it will be nice also to have, but in a next version (posponed) this possibility for folders too (because this problem has emerged with this change) ?

• Yes, here the BG of the folders (name-label) is light grey as RGB 230 - 230 - 230. The font is red.
- But I didn't add entries beyong the #26.
- That's not the BG of the tree beside either, since it's lighter as RGB 246 -246 -246.

- All entries are not coded as plain or hexa (especially those coming from the interface of the options…)
thus I can't see easily where that colour comes from…

No it's only a suggestion to allow users to chose by themself their background colors folders (name-label), and colors fonts.
Like this new change into this V1.92 for extra suffixes customization:
ColorFilter27=*.avi, 230 0 36
BColorFilter27=*.avi, 60 60 60
Then the colors choise is hope to you.

Aha, yes I see. Why not, woudn't hurt, it would allow a lot for anyone who want to cusomize XnView further. Especially if you use unusual formats, it could be great. Hm... giving it more thought, there are many great ways to use it.

Me too...
(on my PC, I have a light grey (Windows 32Bit colors display): RGB 230 230 230 = rgb dec 15132390 = rgb hex E6E6E6
And in (16 Bit) a light grey checkered background
RGB 232 232 232 & RGB 232 228 232 & RGB 224 228 224- but it's normal in 16Bit with some colors)
RGB 230 230 230 probably comes from the source code ( not in the xnview.ini file) ? Pierre ?

if you name¦rename them with (a) fancy extension(s)
- For instance :
Landscapes.fo1
Babes.fo2
and so on…
- Many standard default entries are rather useless, so it's not penalizing for the common image-types…

Yes I know, I have already try this for folders with fancy extensions (Folder.###)
But now with this 1.92 it's possible to go higher than 26, and that's works fine.

Ah ! Nice ! But there is none indication about the limit in the What's New, only :

* ColorFilter & BColorFilter can be used for all formats & extensions -

- Hence, we have to complete our Manual again…
