Read 32 bits grayscale simages

Post by Guillaume_Potdevin »

Hello!

For some scientific app, I need to deal with large dynamic images: 32bits is a minimum.

I cannot get those pictures being displayed with xnview, while I have no problem when writing them in 16 bits.
The picture appears as black, (only one color) with the right dimensions, but the wrong bitdepth ( 8 )

Is this a limitation of xnview, or I am doing something wrong when writing those images (using IDL)?

Thanks a lot in advance for any help!

Guillaume.
