Hello,
I usually work with the browser on my left monitor and the fullscreen view on my right monitor. This is started by hitting F11 in Browser mode. So far so good. But I did not find out how to close the fullscreen view on my second monitor again. Hitting F11 again does nothing, Ctrl-W or ESC close the browser as well, which I don't want.
Unrelated: I noticed a small problem when trying to work without mouse (sitting on the sofa using the wireless keyboard to scroll through the pics...). In three-pane browser mode, using tab I jump from folder tree to command line dialog to thumbnails to folder tree etc. The problem is that the focus is not activated in the thumbnail pane. One has to use the arrow up/down key to select the first picture and see the preview. I guess this is not intentionally.

Click on your second monitor and ESC or popup menu. I think that F11 must close it, what do you think?pic_viewer wrote: I usually work with the browser on my left monitor and the fullscreen view on my right monitor. Aaah, ESC works if the focus is on fullscreen monitor. Ok. Adding F11 to not only start but also exit fullscreen would be good too, IMHO. The popup menu also closes the left browser, so it is not what I looked for.xnview wrote:Click on your second monitor and ESC or popup menu. I think that F11 must close it, what do you think?

That's what I mean! The focus should be there without having to use the arrow keys. At this time, after changing a dir and using tab to go to the thumbnail pane, the focus becomes invisible (looks like inactive) only in this pane.

I just realized that F11 works like that in single monitor setups. So yes, with fullscreen on the second monitor F11 should close the fullscreen (only) too.xnview wrote:I think that F11 must close it, what do you think?

Re: Close Fullscreen / Tab focus
I just realized that XnView does exacxtly this - but only when the focus has been changed to the fullscreen display. So in the end my wish would be that F11 also closes the fullscreen window when the focus is still on the browser window. Uff....pic_viewer wrote:I just realized that F11 works like that in single monitor setups. So yes, with fullscreen on the second monitor F11 should close the fullscreen (only) too.
