I need to batch convert to add 8 hours only to EXIF times without affecting date, minutes and seconds. I will also need to do this with 'Properties: Date Modified'. (e.g. 07:xx:yy to 15:xx:yy)
The Tools/Change Time Stamp facility does not allow this without affecting minutes and seconds.
Reason: I recently travelled to China and forgot to change the camera time to local time for the first couple of days, so I have a couple of hundred photos to alter.
All photos were in RAW Adobe format (Sony *.ARW).
Any suggestions?

Adding a specific duration (e.g. 8 hours in your case) is possible:Alan wrote:I need to batch convert to add 8 hours only to EXIF times without affecting date, minutes and seconds. I will also need to do this with 'Properties: Date Modified'. (e.g. 07:xx:yy to 15:xx:yy)

In dialog "Change timestamp" (Tools>Change Timestamp) choose the following values:
Use:
(o) EXIF: Date taken
+ [0] day(s) 08:00:00
Change:
[x] EXIF: Date taken
This will add 8 hours to the current EXIF Date taken value.
Hope this helps...
Helmut,
No. I'm afraid it does not help at all.
First I require batch processing of the EXIF Timestamp and secondly the Change Timestamp does not change the EXIF data in Sony RAW format (*.ARW). The Change Timestamp does work for Properties: Date Modified in Sony RAW format.
I use RAW+Adobe RGB. I have not been able to try other RAW formats.
The Change Timestamp changes the EXIF data if I convert the image to JPEG but only one image at a time. This is not acceptable since I need to correct many original RAW images.

Alan
