1. It would be great if a user could initiate an XnView scrolling mode for very large zoomed images that panned the image from edge to edge, continuously, until one stopped the behavior with <esc> or another key.
Scrolling behavior would be influenced by the size of the image vs. size of the screen. With auto image size set at "fit image to window height", for instance, XnView would scroll left and right. With auto image size set at "fit image to window width", for instance, XnView would scroll up and down.
For zoomed images (not fit to the window) XnView could (automatically and smoothly) scroll around the full image, "bouncing" in a different direction when it meets any border.
There would need to be a speed setting...
2. Also, a mode that scrolled an zoomed image just by the user moving the mouse away from the center of the screen would be great. Rate of scrolling would be proportional to the distance and direction of the mouse from the center of the screen. This is similar to Internet Explorer's middle-mouse button scroll mode useful for large web pages (try it, you'll like it!).
