second MPG file not shown in slide show

Post by terbie »

Hello all

I wanted to play video files in a photo slide show. Xnview shows the first video but for the second and third no video is shown only the sound.
All videos are MOV converted to MPEG2 with ffmpeg.

If I open all the video one by one everything is fine. But in a slideshow or when I switch in Xnview from to another the second isn't shown.

Has anybody any clue?

I use Xnview 1.92 under Windows XP (SP2). I have tested it on two different computers with the same effect. The videos are original made with a Panasonic digital camera in the Quick Time format (MOV). Maybe the problem is in the converten with ffmpeg?
Is there anything importand in the MPEG2 format for Xnview that I have to know?

Other videos made with a Canon digital camera converted from AVI to MPEG2 are shown in the slideshow without any problem.

It's a pity that nobady has a clue. I've tested so many programms but only Xnview is capable of showing videos in a sliedeshow.
To make it clear again: Xnview plays every video without any problem if it is started one by one. If I want to switch from one video to another using the next button no video is shown any more!
