IPTC editing

Hi All

I have a number of images with numbers in the headline IPTC tag.

I often use a program called renamer to order filenames and strip numbers and strings from filenames.

Is there any way to integrate this program into XNView, or does XNView have a feature that allows you to strip IPTC data of certain characters.

I see that Renamer has a facility for a pascal script, unfortunately, I don't know pascal.

Can anyone advise on how I can strip out characters and numbers out off 5000 differing headline tags?
