I would like saved selections to re-load to the same precise position when the image size is the same.
Currently, when you re-load a saved selection (even within the same image), the selection is loaded in some 'other' position... IE the selection 'moves'. See this thread:
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=14564
I would like the saved selection to save the XY position of the selection relative to the image origin and re-use it when re-loading the selection. In Irfanview, it will save and re-use this location information and will not 'move' the selection when re-loading. In addition, it offers a type-in dialog for both selection position and size.
So for example, if an selection XY position of 100,100 is saved and a selection size is saved, then that selection will always be re-loaded to the 100,100 location. If the image sizes are the same, the selection will always be re-loaded to the same location.
Thanks!
