1.93.4: Crash on folder with approx. 4500 jpeg files

This folder has approx. 4500 files, but only 800MB data. The XNVIEV crash not immediately, but with delay 1-2 minutes. I see, that after navigating this folder, the pagefile.sys will be bigger and still bigger, until the maximal value of my systhem is reached (by me approx. 2,2GB) and then give the XNVIEV a message, that problem was occured and must be closed.
This happens always. I have any cash for thumnails, loockup for images, forward cashing and any other type of saved information turned off, so i think, i cannot again stop this.

BUT!
I have in my settings the thumbnail size of 768x576 and i think, that the XNVIEV will be made in the background the thumbnails for all images, that i have in this directory! If it is right, then: I need a option, that either thumnails in the visible windows should be made, or the forward made/cashing of thumbnaisl must be have a presettable maximum value (best in MB), so i can limit the count of thumbnails, that are cashed in the background.

Yes, xnview make thumbnails for all files, currently there is no maximum setting...
