RC1: Strange behavior in resize dialog

Post by JohnFredC »

Hard to describe, but to reproduce this error do the following:

- Open an image in View mode
- Select Image->Resize
- Drop down the Units "units" combo by clicking on the down arrow.
- Point at the "other" value in the Units list but don't select it.
- Now click on the combo's current value in the combo list.
- The Units numeric value and other dimensions will be re-calculated based on the "other" (unselected) value, but the Units "units" combo itself remains unchanged.

For instance, I opened an image at 72 pixels/inch. Using the above steps I expanded the "units" combo, pointed at the value pixels/cm in the list but didn't select it, then clicked to select the original value (ie. pixels/in).

The resize dialog recalculated with the pixels/cm arithmetic, even though the Units "units" combo still reads pixels/in.

A failure in the logic which identifies whether the value of the Units combo box has changed...

This error also occurs in the Resize Canvas dialog.
