New to XnView... Some problems with crashes.

Post by Guest »

Great Program! However, some crashes still happen. Especially with Video or Audio files. When jumping from files to files, it crashes. Also, for some reason, when viewing some .mov files along with .mpg files in a directory, the preview icons do not show, however, when you click on it, then, the video plays fine in the preview window. When I click "Refresh", XNView crashes again.

WinXP Pro SP2, Intel Q6600 Quad, 3G RAM, NVDIA VideoCard...

Thanks for your help.

I don't know what happened, I posted reply and it disappeared. Well, let me try again.

Yes, it is limited to audio and video files, only at times.

Thanks for your help.

Do you have a way to reproduce it?
Pierre.

Yes, everytime. Also, is there a way to display or play .m2t? HDV format. Thanks.

My problem is mostly with video and audio, not with pictures. I got plenty of horse power for my pc and ram. I think perhaps some video codec is weired that somehow XnViewer can not process fast enough or something. Any other idea?

I am not sure. I supposed. Whenever it hit that folder, it crashes. Everytime.
