XnView is a wonderful program, but recently I've come across a bug that is quite annoying (at least if you are impatient
). When I browse to a folder containing RAW files of my Olympus E510, it takes ages for XnView to create the thumbnails, although I activated the "use embedded thumbnails" options. The embedded thumbs don't seem to be recognized, as the "embedded thumbnail"-symbol doesn't appear either. First I thought there mightn't be any thumbnails embedded in Oly E510 RAWs. But strangely, with some (rare) RAWs it works, and XnView detects the embedded thumbnails. Also, other viewers like zoner don't have any problems and generate the previews extremely fast - no matter if I browse jpgs or RAWs.
