no folder thumbs for SGI/ICN image inside folder
hi
does anyone know how to deal with that?
it works fine if the images in the folder are JPG or other but for SGI (RGB, RGBA, INT, INTA) or Ripterm ICN - it shows me only the default yellow folder

And you have the preview if you click on them?joro3d wrote:hi

Pierre.
That's documented…

• Yes, it is, please have a glance HERE. Scroll down to the image in that paragraph. No GUI, though…Is it possible to change the yellow folder to something else..like blue Folder? I use tango and it uses blue folder everywhere…
- Example for a blue folder (to polish up indeed):
[Browser]
FolderColor1=$FFBA75
FolderColor2=$D6075F
FolderColor3=$AE5700
FolderColor4=$FF9D9D
FolderColor5=$000000
• Also possible from the Options (F12) >> Browser >> Thumb nails >> [Appearance] >>…or use the XP Shell32,4 icon that is used by explorer too.
Tick the box [×] Show 4 thumbnails…

Sorry
Thanks I found it myself but didn't post here. The colors for blue tango folder is:
FolderColor1=13870973
FolderColor2=12751471
FolderColor3=10181425
FolderColor4=9735051
FolderColor5=10181425
I was referring to the big icon that is used by Explorer. It is number 4 in shell32.dll ... I know that is possible to see 4 thumbs on the folder (bit misunderstanding and clarification here) But that icon is limited in size.

Follows the thumbs

• Sorry for that misunderstanding.
• The thumb nails folder icon of XnView follows indeed the stated size of the thumb nails…
• The icon in the shell32.dll of XP you are talking of (same look than the XnView one) is index #3
-the numbering starts always from #0- and has two largest pages as 96².
- It's the size I set usually for my thumb nails to get the “best” look.
- In Xnview, it can't be imported “as is”, I guess. And supposing it could, it'ld be always yellow…
• However, one could imagine an option able to import any large icon¦bitmap 24 or 32 BPP from any external source,
I think it could be nicer, especially with regard to the current gradation which is not progressive enough, IMHO.
- But it's that another song, like we say in French…
