Hello !
First of all, thanks for creating such a nice software like xnview !
I'm using it since a couple of years from now on, and I'm still very satisfied with it !
Yet, I've some suggestions to make :
About the interface : it would be really nice if the dialogue boxes could be resized, and "keep their dimensions in memory" whenever you call them back.
I've downloaded the alpha "xnview multi-os" to have a sneak peak on it, and I've seen that resizing the dialogue boxes was already possible, so I guess that it will not be implemented in next versions of xnview until this new "multi-os". So, for the multi-os version, it would be great if the interface could keep the same place and size of the dialogue box between 2 openings.
Moreover, it would be really useful to extend the "memory" to what tab was last activated in the dialogue box, to open the same when re-openning. As an example, if I launch the IPTC dialogue box to add keywords to my images, it would be nice to click on tab "keywords" once and for all, and to get this tab activated by default each time I call back the dialogue box (until I change tab, of course). I hope it's clear, but I think it would be a real time saver when you have to label many images.
Finally, about the "search" function. I've tested only IPTC search but I guess it's true with every options available.
So, if I'm searching images with the keywords "water", it would be nice to have only images with the real word "water", and not the letters "w.a.t.e.r" included in another word like "watercraft" for example. In fact, the search engine act as it was searching something like *water*. It can certainly be useful in some cases, but I doubt that they're in the majority. So, if you could correct this, it would be great.
That's all folks !
Have a nice week !
