Delay every time I open XnView
Hi
I have xnview at home on XP64 and don't have any problem.
I'm testing now xnview on my company to convince my boss to purchase it, but I'm noticing a very strange problem. Every time I open xnview and browse the directorys on the network, the program seems to crash for 2 or 3 min and after that it works fine.
We have dual quad cores on XP64 and have several network paths mapped.
Is this normal?
Thanks

Hi Xnview
I have just understand that the problem is not on the network.
Every time I open xnview everything works fine if I don't access the menu or click on “page up” or “page down”, I can even browse on the network. The first time I click the menu xnview freezes for 2 or 3 minutes. After that the menu works fine.
If I close the program and open it again the problem happens again.
Can you help me?
Thanks,
Mário

Hi,
I've a similar problem.
When i open a picture with xnview, it opens instantaneously but i have to wait something like 15-20s to be able to use it.
I've tried the NoWIA=1 tip but the problem is still here.
I have a Q6600, 2go of ram and XP 32bits
I don't have any problem when i launch Xnview with browse mode, but actually i never do that, i always open it when with a picture, i've just tried because i thought it could help you to find the origin of this problem.
