Extracting images from PPS files

Post by jag624_ »

Hello.. I'm new to this board, I have PPS files which contain beautiful pictures and
I would like to save them individually to a separate folder, I was told that this
program (XnView) would do that, but I have never used it before and I'm trying to
figure out just how to do that, step by step.

I looked in here but there are so many entries it will take me some time to sort thru
them to find what I'm looking for, so please, can someone give me a quick rundown
on how to save PPS files images to a separate folder using XnView, or at least,
if this has already been answered, can someone give me a link so I can
check it out for myself, Thanks..

Try by enabling option/General/Use all formats

Thanks for the reply, Pierre, but I am a novice and have never used XnView,
I need to know how to open and view the PPS file using XnView then what to do
in order to save the individual screen pictures to a folder while I am watching them,
I need step by step, please, or a link to those instructions. Thanks again..

Use File/Open to open your pps, and Tools/Multipage/Extract all

Thanks again, Pierre, I was able to do all that successfully, the individual pictures
showed up at the top of the screen in XnView and I was able to save them individually
to a folder, I thought it was going to ask me for the name of a folder where the pictures
would have gone into, but that was not the case.

I have to keep playing with it to see what else I can do. Thanks for your help..
