multimonitor fullscreen bug

Post by consistency »

i allways had this bug no matter which xnview version i use.

when i go in fullscreen mode on a different monitor than the primary,
the xnview window just disappear (everything which was covered by the xnview window
gets revealed).
taskbar icon&text are still there, and if i press F11 again the xnview window just
comes back in non-fullscreen mode.

specs:
windows xp pro
2x nvidia 8600 gt, configured independtly from each other (dualview)
driver version: 6.14.11.6218
3 screens: 19"(left, third) 24" (center, primary), 24" (right, 2nd)

primary monitor:
non-fullscreen -> F11 -> normal fullscreen picture -> F11 -> non-fullscreen
other than primary monitor:
non-fullscreen -> F11 -> disappered xnview window -> F11 -> non-fullscreen

what i want is open one fullscreen xnviewwindow on each of my three screens.

some screenshots:
screens from left to right
19"(left, third) 24" (center, primary), 24" (right, 2nd)

3rd: system propterties panel, 1st: windowed martial arts, 2nd: windowed clouds
Image

3rd: system propterties panel, 1st: fullscreen martial arts, 2nd: windowed clouds
Image

3rd: system propterties panel, 1st: windowed martial arts, 2nd: dissapeared fullscreen clouds

if i use the "dual monitor, strech over all monitors" option set to true, the following happens:

fullscreen on 3rd screen

fullscreen on 1st screen

fullscreen on 2nd screen

hi,

sorry for my late reply, i haven't got a mail that somebody replied to this topic.

i downloaded the new version (1.95.2), it now works perfect on all three monitors.

thank you for the fix!

the only mini-problem i have now is, that if i fullscreen on the primary monitor (with the start menu / taskbar), the taskbar stays over the fullscreened image.

i had this problem also in the older versions, but there i first clicked on the taskbar and then on the fullscreened image and the image "jumped" over the taskbar and was really fullscreen. now the "click-trick" don't work any more.

of course i can help with the beta testing, if i dont reply within 2 days please try sending me a direct email (email address from my profile) if you need me testing.

thank you for this great program.
