Canvas Size causes distorted image

Post by joe1203 »

1) When using canvas size function, it causes B/W image distorted. The image looks like that Xnview forgets to shift the alternative pixel row.
It occurs in 1.94.1/.2, but not in 1.94
However, crop function is fine

2) In batch convertion, I think the "Resize Canvas" should be name as "Canvas size", just for consistency.

Please forgive me if this has been reported

The example images have been sent to Contact at xnview d0t com

I think you may recreate the issue by
1) Create a small black and white image with a vertical straight line (100x100 in my case) using any software
3) "Canvas size" it (I use 90%)
4) The image has two vertical line now (Magic! :D )

:) Hello !

• I drew such an image, but can't reproduce this…
- I tested with PNG 1 bit one, and also JPG, same, still one vertical line, any position I chose for the cropped remaining part…
