Shortcut for "Show grid"?

Post by Troken »

Hi,

is it possible to add a keyboard shortcut to turn "Show grid" on/off? Instead of searching the menu everytime when using the feature repeatedly.

A button ?

:) Hello !

• What about a button in the tool-bar (assuming you display it…)?

- It's very convenient and faster than rummaging in the menu… :P
… and if you miss the needed extra-icon (still NOT provided by the designers - but myself-) it's easy to draw…

It's not easy to find a good shortcut for new options, since there are too many shortcuts in xnview.

However, you can create a new (custom) shortcut for any option from the menu using HotkeyP, more here.

...Hmm G looks free.

I've already done this in GIMP: set "G" as the toggle to turn the grid on & off. Would make sense to do it in Xnview too.
