This is a problem that I have observed with my pictures on all the computers I used (3 machines).
JPEG 2000 jp2 files from photoshop 6.0 made with the jp2 fnord plugin make XnView crash. thumbnail view is possible, opening the picture or seeing the preview of the picture by simple clic on the thumbnail is not possible, XnView crashes.
This behavior was not there a few months ago, since I installed the newer versions, (I am up to date), the problem has arisen and never been solved.
I can read all other jp2 files.

Hello Pierre, as you did not answer I've sent you the sample again, using your XnView <-- removed* --> adress this time.

Oops sorry for posting email adresses.
I want to say this issue is not solved yet, although you said you fixed the bug, in the 1.94.2 version, I still have the same problem.
What's more, in the meanwhile I erased the thumbnail cache and as XnView cannot rely anymore on the thumbnails that were generated when it was able to read those files, now it just crashes whenever I open a folder containing such files, because it tries to generate the thumbnails anew.

Thanks for the bug resolution in 1.95beta2! What's more, the new codec is superfast!
Though, I haven't checked yet if the encoding quality is as good as the old one in 1.93. Should it be the same? What's the difference between the new and old jp2 codec?
[EDIT]: Now I've had a look, it seems the quality is the same, that's great!
