Draw plugin, howto use it?

hello,

i downloaded and installed the draw plugin, however i cant seem to get it to work, no toolbar, not selectable in tools->plug-in. what am i missing?

You start the paint tool using menu "Filter > Paint" (in View mode)

I don't want to write long, long lines in paint - plugin -

I want
to write
really short
ones and

empty
lines too.

But I can
not find
the CR/LF
Function and this is why my lines are toooo long.
Where is CR/LF?

The result is the same like "OK(Enter)", closes the dialogue and sets the text in the image.
