My Ricoh Caplio GX stores pcitures in a picky tiff format (non-compression YUV). Unfortunately XP is unable to display these thumbnails. Therefore, I would like to use XnView 1.94.2 to convert these pictures to regular tiff. XnView is able to read these images and their Exif. However, when I use the conversion tool (to: uncompressed tiff), the Exif information is lost. I read that there was a problem with 1.94.1, but it was described as fixed in 1.94.2.
Is there a turnaround ?

I tried to convert the picture from Tiff YUV to Tiff with PainShopPro. Then I opened the file with XnView (1.94.2). Exif was there. However, when I saved again to Tiff (uncompressed), the Exif info was erased.
