corrupted or unviewable files in browser

Post by gangof1 »

i'm having a problem where in the browser,(in all folders),a large percentage
of the files(thumbnails) are shown as icons & not viewable. when i click on the thumbnail i get a "file corrupted" error. and yet in properties it lists the
file ok.
i can view the same files with IrfanView,PaintShopPro,FastStoneViewer &
others no problem..
I've uninstalled-reinstalled numerous times with the same resuls.
years ago i had this problem & pierre had a solution.
i've been using Xnview for years as my primary image browser & grfx
editor but this is really frustrating..i'm having to use IrfanView & i would
prefer to continue w/ Xnview..
please help me out here.

You can try to enable option/Read/ignore read error
