MS Windows Imaging Component and shifted EXIF Maker Notes

Regarding this strange MS feature (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms737408.aspx) I want to ask, if there is a possibility, how to persuade XnView into viewving this shifted EXIF maker notes. It looks like now it is not working and these shifted records I cannot see in XnView (I can see them e.g. in ExifTool)
