Image format in the slideshow

Post by fiet »

Hi,

I want to make a slideshow containing several HD resolution (1920x1080) images in tif and jp2 format. However I don't want any lossy compression processed in each images in the slideshow creation.

Does the images in the slideshow created by XnView have same information in their pixel as the input images?

Thanks for the information.

If you create a .exe slideshow, xnview resize the pictures

So does it mean if I choose the fixed size option into 1920x1080, I will still get the downsampled image in the .exe slideshow?

What is the dimension of the resized images in .exe slideshow?
Thanks again.

If you choose 1920x1080, the picture will be resized to that size

I have more questions about the slideshow.

Does the .exe slideshow save the images as JPG?

Is it possible to have the slideshow in the original image format as the input, such as tif or bmp?

I really appreciate all the replies here. Thank you.
