Shortcut Properties Find Target Problem

Post by Jerry999 »

Clicking on this button always brought up an Explorer interface and I could easily select the proper target. Since installing XnView, clicking Find Target brings up XnView instead and there is no way to click a target such that it is transferred into the shortcut. How can I go back to the original Explorer interface that works?

How?

I am not familiar with the process you suggest. Can you provide details? Will that cause the button to work properly?

The method mentioned in my previous post won't add a button (“Find Target”) to the properties page. It adds an item (“Open file location”) with the same functionality to the context menu of your shortcuts.

What version of Windows are you running?

Your links were very nice but did not correct the problem. One of them linked me to the following page.
