just saw this one
I posted a similar Idea under "Suggestions": Ctrl-Mousewhele to change Thumbnail Size
A simple pre-solution: Copy the Pulldown-Menu "View > Thumbnail Size" as Button next to "View as" above the Thumbnails.

Let me add to this my request for integer width thumbnail spacing.
In many situations there is blank space to the right of the thumbs, between them and the right border of the browser window. This is wasted screen space that serves no purpose or utility.
I see two approaches:
1. Change the width of the thumb cartouches to automatically to fill the available space
2. Change the spacing of the thumb cartouches to automatically fill the available space.
