paste a list of IPTC-keywords

Post by Nele »

Hi, :)

I downloaded XnView yesterday and tried it for my professional purposes (I will buy it, if it passes my tests).

It really looks great, but I have one question regarding IPTC-keywords.
Normally I collect a lot of keywords for a new subject in an open office document first (brainstorming) and then sort them.

So my question is whether it is possible to copy this list of keywords

Code: Select all

keyword 1
keyword 2
keyword 3
and so on ...
and paste them all together in the iptc-keyword field.

This would be great, but I haven't got a clue so far.

Thanks for any help in advance

Don't think so, might see all pasted keywords as one long "word". I don't know if they can be separated by commas etc.

You can use 'defined keywords list' to assign keyword
