more speed in "move to favorites folder" ?

Hello,
I've got huge images folders and I wonder why it takes so much time to move a picture to one of this huge folder (near 10 s !). As I do not open the folder itself I wonder if there is a way to speed this action (in other pictures viewer I tested, Irfanview or Fastone Image Viewer, it is very fast to move a picture. There is no waiting time to load the list of folders) ?
