FLV in Thumbnail

Post by pony036 »

Sir,

Since XnView displays all image formats and movie formats and displays them nicely in thumbnails, why don't you add the FLV to the movie formats that the program supports ? This will make XnView displays "All" image and movie formats.

Thank you

:) Hello ! Welcome aboard !

• FLV is already supported, but you need the appropriate codecs installed in your PC.

- Moreover, please check the Options (F12) :
General >> [Operations] [×] Display all image file types (tick the box).

 Kind regards,
Claude

:) Hello !

Image

• BTW :  The FLV thumb nails are displayed here. But some days ago, Paul sent me a 5-pawed FLV:
Impossible to display it, neither in XnView, nor in any other viewer !
- Thus, one can't swear that all FLVs are supported…

Most of my FLV clips don't work but I'm not worried as xplorer2 pro x64 displays them as thumbnails fine with the help of FFDShow x64, Haali Media Splitter x64 (found on Doom9's forums) and gabest's FLV Splitter x64 installed.

Also, "copy and paste" the following to get your video thumbnails to work in Windows Explorer!

Code: Select all

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
