Acquiere from camera?

Hi i´m a new starter in XnView from Sweden. I have a problem when I wants to import from a camera or memory card. I use the "Acquire from scanner or camera" in the "File" drop down list. There I can see the files on the memory card and press the import . After that I have no idea where the files go. I cant find them.
Pleas help me.
