sorry, I've been searching this forum quite some time and I could not find, how I could use the xnview search with wild cards.
I have a big collection of pictures (no, not only photographs) and I would like to use xnview with categories and description to hande it on two different computers. I am not interessted in EXIF information, as my collection mostly are scanns anyway (anchestor's pictures).
I have now a solution in editing the annotiation (Description, embedded in picture and stored in "descript.ion"), which can easily be copied to my laptop.
Now I choose the search, but I need to edit a key word for the search.
Is there any chance to enter just a wild card? I tried % and * but it did not work.
I'd like to have that exctract, I edited, so I would just see all "qood" pictures.
Of course, this is also discussed as playlists, but in my case, it's just simply wild cards, I'm looking for
