I have a project with thousands of files where I am dragging a file from XNView (in Details List view) and dropping into Photoshop for some editing, then later dragging another file over to PS, etc.
When I have a file highlighted in XNView and you choose to double-click to open it within XNView... you can double-click anywhere on the highlighted file in the list and it will open as desired.
But if you want to drag-n-drop from XNView over to PS... you must click directly on the file name in order to successfully drag-n-drop over to PS. If you accidently click NOT on the filename but on the highlighted file line... XNView will start drawing a selection rectangle instead of dragging the file over. Then you must kill this process and start the drag-n-drop process all over again.
Since I have thousands of files that I must use this method on... I keep accidentally starting the selection rectangle instead of a drag-n-drop.
Is there a way to turn this off?
Thanks!
