'Windowless' image viewing like in Xyplorer when I click on the thumbnail preview the image appears in it's original size without any OS window, close buttons, controls etc
Xyplorer file manager with the windowless image viewing
With support for moveable transparent controls and control of windowless size;
...lol this might take a lot of work to work on, I would love to see it in Xnview / Xnview MP (future)
Please, 'Windowless' image viewing

For me, this feature would only be useful as a "quick viewer" for the Shell Extension when clicking on the thumbnail in the context menu.

That might be useful as an "instant" pop-up preview as I mouse over the thumbs.
I have also hoped for a "windowless" browser mode similar to the FireFox (and others) "Full screen" mode.

I would love this feature as a toggle feature in the viewer, just like how we can toggle between Fullscreen on/off

Thanks for vjpeg. I think development on that has ceased. Vjpeg only support JPG (no PNG of others) and also there is no way to next/prev to other files in the directory.ThatEvilGuy wrote:budz, check out vjpeg, it's exactly what you want.

I think in future, with no pressure, that this 'windowless' feature could still make Xnview as a toggle on/off feature in the viewer just like the fullscreen toggle.
