Add default image fit option for preview pane?

How about add an option to make a default image fit option for the preview pane? Similar to the "auto image size" option for "view" and "fullscreen". That way, we can modify image fittings in preview pane without changing the default.

I miss this feature.
Little images stretched in preview mode on full big monitor are very annoying.
